My crystals are ready for a good cleansing

Although I'd love to cleanse my crystals more often, I make sure that, at a minimum, they are cleansed every 2-3 months. They say you should cleanse them once a month, but as a small business owner, it can be hard just remembering what day it is, let alone remembering to cleanse my crystals.

Cleansing your crystals regularly re-energizes them and maximizes their healing power. The best part about it is that it's so simple to do!

First, you have to figure out what type of crystals you have and whether or not they can go in salt water, as some will deteriorate or dissolve, like selanite. So be careful, and do your homework, or you may just ruin your beauties. Smudging your crystals with a sage smudge stick is also an option I consider; especially when there is no moon or it's too cloudy out, but my crystals are calling for a good cleanse. For salt water, you have many options. If you live by a beach or other body of salt water, you may collect it from there (just make sure the water isn't polluted), or dissolve some natural sea salt from your spice cabinet in water.

I use the salt water from my pool. It's great. Not only is it naturally energized from the sun and moon light, but I also know it's really clean!

I like to cleanse my crystals on the full moon. The moonlight lifts the crystal's natural vibrations, and a full moon allows for optimal positive vibrations. Whether or not you put your crystals in salt water, it's nice to leave them out to bask in the moonlight. To do this, just put them out where you know they will receive the most light and keep them out for the night (or as long as you can).

I let them soak in the salt water pool for a while, until I'm called to take them out. Then, I let them dry in the sun and leave them in the moonlight during the full moon.

With the Super moon rising, my babies are ready to take their "bath!"
